How good is the product? Good enough we are dedicating an entire page to it on our website.  We believe when the Collinite 845’s “properties” are balanced against its price that it doesn’t have an equal in the marketplace. We have and would put this product up against any liquid wax on the market and feel it would come out the winner.

Here are the “properties” we are referencing in the previous paragraph-

Water beading- Even months after it’s application it will still bead water and help it slide off your vehicle.

Sun protection- Excellent UV protection from the sunrays.

Length of protection from a single application- It lasts longer then any other liquid wax on the market.

Low amount of product needed for single application- You don’t need to use large amount of product to obtain the protection and increase in looks to your vehicle.

Solid “warming” of the paint surface look- It is able to make all paint colors appear a little darker.

Solid “depth” added to the paint surface look- It is able to make the paint on your vehicle appear that your looking deep into a surface of whatever color you apply it to.

Solid slickness added to the paint surface- It is able to have the paint be slick to the touch, which helps surface contaminants to be easily removed.

We have found the 845, to last longer then any other liquid wax on the market and we have tested just about every product on the market. Even in sunny California conditions the product lasts and lasts. On top of that it provides some kind of protection from acidic rain, bird droppings, airborne vehicle exhaust, sap, and pollen.

We have found a minimum of 3 months of solid protection from the 845 wax. That time period is in what we consider a worse case scenario in which the vehicle would be taken to a drive through wash every two weeks and never have any other hand type work done to it. In a best case scenario, where the vehicle is washed/QD by hand with a PH balanced shampoo on a regular basis we have seen the protection last for 6 months.

As far as what it does to the looks of paint, it works well on all colors bright or dark adding warmth and depth to the paint regardless of the color range. It also posses the ability to help metallic paint have a lot more “pop” to the eye.
