Why do we refer to ourselves (our capabilities) as paint reconditioning specialists?

Any business can wash your car and throw some generic wax product on it to make it look shiny. Doing that doesn’t remove the swirl marks, water -spot etching, holograms, and RIDS that occur to vehicle paint due to any number of reasons. If it all possible, we don't to try to hide the imperfections like many of our competitors do. We attempt to fix the imperfections using the correct products and procedures. You can be assured A Final Touch Detailing has the experience, knowledge, and expertise to use our products and procedures to effectively deal with those paint issues. If you choose we can attempt to make your vehicles surface “as perfect the paint allows”. For these reason and the results we obtain, A Final Touch Detailing refers to ourselves as paint reconditioning specialists.

So how is paint reconditioning different from a "detail" that you may find at a competitor? At the most basic level, it's a matter of the actual labor procedures that are done and the time involved in doing those procedures. Beyond that, we don't call the work we do a "detail" because the word "detail" is overused by many in this industy in our opinion. For example, any business who spends 30 minutes washing your car and throwing some wax on it, often refers to that work as a "detail". If something that simple, with that amount of labor time is refered to as a "detail", then the 10-30+ hours of labor time we peform when we do paint reconditioning, shouldn't also be called a "detail". For those reasons we have named what we do as paint reconditioning.

Does that mean if you don't want or need your paint as perfect as it can be, you cant use our services? Absolutely not, our experience with chasing paint perfection means we do outstanding work on all levels of detailing services.
